What is Normal Paranormal?

Normal Paranormal originally began as a collaborative effort in 2009 to look into various claims of purported high strangeness. Since then, it has evolved into a thought-provoking and ongoing discussion run by author, researcher, and independent investigator Justin Bamforth—as a way to collect and present information on all facets of Fortean phenomena.

As he chronicles his journey into the unknown and takes you along for the ride, you will get a feel for just how puzzling and bizarre this topic can be. Though the site may not have all the answers you’re looking for, it might help you to at least ask the right questions.

Occasional guest posts are also featured from time to time. If you’d like to contribute a written piece, get in touch!

Who is the Author?

Justin Bamforth has been exploring various avenues of high strangeness and its interconnectedness—from the paranormal to UFOs, the Men in Black and other strange beings, and everything in between for close to two decades. He lectures on the subject, collaborates with other investigators on cases, and consults with people worldwide to better understand whatever it is we’re dealing with. (Or at least he attempts to.)

He has been featured on such programs as Coast to Coast AM, Fade to Black with Jimmy Church, Spaced Out Radio, Midnight in the Desert, Midnight.FM, and several other broadcasts and podcasts.
