Photographic Evidence of the Real Men in Black
Is there photographic evidence of the real Men in Black (MIB)? I get asked this question a lot. The short answer is quite possibly yes…but it’s very, very, very rare. Perhaps even rarer than a clear photo of everybody’s favorite furry humanoid—Bigfoot.
That being said, of the few examples of MIB caught on camera that do exist (or are considered more authentic than others), the backstories behind them are just as important. They allow us some additional insight into the MIB’s strange world and how they may operate. Yet these instances of catching the MIB on camera are still quite far and few in between.
And, fewer than most people on the Internet would have you believe.

Conversations with the MRP
One of the shows I really enjoy being on lately is the Minority Report Podcast (MRP). If you’re unfamiliar with who these guys are, see my first post detailing this new show or just go listen to them for yourself.
Earlier in the month, I had the privilege to be interviewed by them again, but this time in person. They flew up all the way from Atlanta just to visit Philly! So, we sat down to continue with part two of our conversation into the concepts I explore in my book “The Spectrum.”

Thinking Differently in the Paranormal
When I began my quest into the paranormal, I bought into the widely accepted notion that ghosts are simply spirits of dead people. Yet, when we carefully examine some of these cases, we find there also appear to be other things going on with the phenomenon—albeit things that are not so cut and dry.
As human beings, we like to have our world clearly defined in black and white. We especially like to break things down into easily digested pieces cooked to the familiar palate of human understanding. But when we are dealing with the bizarre nature of the unexplained, this approach couldn’t be any more detrimental towards our attempts to ever understand it.
Over time, I learned to approach the phenomena from a different angle altogether (especially if I am to ever satisfy my curiosity with it). If we can shift our expectations away from the very limited human logic applied to it and begin to look at the phenomena from the limitless lens of the phenomena itself, it might help us to better grasp how it operates in the way that it does.

Going to the Source of the Strangeness
Recently, I did an interview for the API Case Files Podcast with its host, Marsha Barnhart. In the interview, we talk about my research into the Men in Black and other areas of high strangeness, which I chronicle in my book “The Spectrum.”
Click here for the full podcast interview.
Marsha was someone I initially contacted about a 2008-09 case that she investigated for the Aerial Phenomena Investigations (API) team. Even though it’s a multifaceted case, it’s probably best known for containing surveillance footage of two purported Men in Black (MIB) entering a hotel lobby in search of the manager at the heart of the case.
The clip showing these MIB caught on camera went viral soon after both Coast to Coast AM and BuzzFeed picked up on API’s case report.

Bucks County Resident Explores the Strange in The Spectrum
Here is a recent article I did for both Bucks Happening and Montco Happening…
Bucks County Resident Justin Bamforth Explores “The Highly Strange” in His New Book, The Spectrum
By Michelle ReeseDo ghosts, aliens and psychic phenomena all share a common source? Bucks County resident and author Justin Bamforth explores this question in his recently published book The Spectrum: Glimpses of the Paranormal and Encounters with the Strange. Doppelgangers, Men in Black, UFOs, spirits … Justin covers these topics and more through exclusive interviews, case studies and key testimony.
Unlike some books dealing with the paranormal, The Spectrum manages to engage readers’ curiosity without being TOO out there and hard to follow. It’s written with a conversational tone, so you feel as if you’re sitting with Justin himself. Yet, it has enough research behind it that you understand how Justin’s years of studying these topics have helped him develop this book – and how it has affected his life!
With Halloween just around the corner, it seemed like an appropriate time to talk to Justin about the book and these spooky topics.

The Effects of Living in a Haunted House
When I first began the Normal Paranormal website several years ago, I put the call out to see if anyone wanted to contribute articles to it. The response was almost nonexistent. Yet, there was one person out there who had taken an interest.
His name was “Lawrence Miller,” and he had lived in a haunted house.
Lawrence told me how it practically destroyed his life and negatively impacted his family. Although tragic, his account was also necessary because it put into perspective the reality of this that ghost hunters often forget.
The paranormal isn’t fun for everyone.

The Spectrum is now available!
My first book titled “The Spectrum: Glimpses of the Paranormal and Encounters with the Strange” is now available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and your favorite local bookstore, like On Angels Wings.
In it are some of my own personal experiences as well as some familiar faces you may already know of along with their previously untold stories.
Whenever I do a lecture or speaking engagement, like this one in October, I’ll also have copies available. If you’d like me to be at your event, please feel free to send me a message.
I hope you enjoy the book!
