    Men in Plaid

Step aside Men in Black. There appears to be a new fashion statement at the moment—the men in plaid!

Last month, I had the pleasure of speaking at the International Fortean Organization’s annual Fortfest in Linthicum Heights, MD. I connected with some really great people there including Timothy Renner and Joshua Cutchin. The two of them are currently working on a fascinating book together called “Where the Footprints End” about other aspects and relationships between Bigfoot and all these other strange phenomena. Once it’s out it’s going to upend that classic perspective of what he is. And, it’s not what you think.

After their presentation on this, Tim briefly shared with me some of the more intriguing findings he had come across recently involving two men spotted all over the country and on the scene of Bigfoot encounters. Turns out these same two guys just suddenly show up to intimidate or question people about their experiences.

Might this suggest a Men in Black component to the Bigfoot mystery that has been previously overlooked? There have been several cases which highlight a connection between Bigfoot and UFOs, so a MIB aspect wouldn’t surprise me at all, really.

High Strangeness Over the High Seas

There are new interviews with Cmdr. David Fravor about his encounters with anomalous craft out over the Pacific Ocean in 2004. If you’re not familiar with Cmdr. Fravor, you’ve probably heard about the event he was involved with, more commonly referred to as the “Tic Tac” UFO/UAP sighting.

The recent interviews with Fravor were conducted at UFO Fest on May 18, 2019, in McMinnville, Oregon. They were given by investigative journalist George Knapp and documentary filmmaker Jeremy Corbell.

    INFO Fortfest 2019

I’ve been invited to speak at this year’s INFO Fortfest 2019. I’m really excited (and extremely honored) to attend the event this year as an actual speaker. I was only ever there as an attendee in the past but always amazed at the talks that were delivered by some truly great people.

This year’s event is no less impressive with speakers from different angles and perspectives attempting to shed some light into the mysteries of the world. It will be held on two days (June 29-30) in Linthicum, Maryland. As for me, I’ll be speaking on Saturday, June 29 at 11:15 am about our favorite boys, err “men” in black.

Hopefully, there might even be a few sitting in the audience that day.

    Conversations with the MRP

One of the shows I really enjoy being on lately is the Minority Report Podcast (MRP). If you’re unfamiliar with who these guys are, see my first post detailing this new show or just go listen to them for yourself.

Earlier in the month, I had the privilege to be interviewed by them again, but this time in person. They flew up all the way from Atlanta just to visit Philly! So, we sat down to continue with part two of our conversation into the concepts I explore in my book “The Spectrum.”

    The 1966 Edinburg, TX Incident

I recently learned of a bizarre incident involving eight construction workers and a UFO just north of Edinburg, Texas in the fall of 1966, thanks to UFO investigator and author Noe Torres.

It was about midnight when the eight men were supposedly digging gravel out of a pit near Farm to Market Rd. 490, approximately four miles west of Highway 281. They suddenly noticed a UFO at close proximity above them.

Presumably, out of fear they reacted in a hostile way, possibly even shooting at the object, which shot a “beam of fire” at them. The energy weapon decimated their construction equipment, two pickup trucks, and a small RV. The men escaped, but their entire camp was destroyed.

    The “Stranges” of Valiant Thor

    “Are you Strange?”

Frank rolls his eyes and replies, “Here we go again. No, it’s Strang-es.

Prior to seeing Dr. Frank E. Stranges deliver a presentation (courtesy of this Roku channel, from what I believe was 1991) I really didn’t know much about him. The only thing I knew of Dr. Stranges (not to be confused with Dr. Strange) was his 1967 book, “Stranger at the Pentagon.”

In that book, Stranges outlined his very own personal encounters with a human-looking, extraterrestrial (a Venusian to be exact) named Valiant Thor. He was, and possibly still is, walking among us and supposedly within the halls of government, too.

Creepy Calls from a Strange Entity

The telephone seems to be a popular device to high strangeness. I’ve heard reports of conversations with the dead to correspondences with life forms from another time, or even another dimension. Telemarketing tactics aside, there are quite a few reports of these creepy calls, which might suggest that something out there is attempting to use our telecommunication systems to make contact with us.

And, one of those examples is found in the peculiar case of Gary Sudbrink.

In 1993, Gary was an Air Force captain assigned to medical pharmacy work in San Antonio, TX. In February of that same year, he planned an unannounced, surprise trip to visit friends and family in Long Island, NY.

Even though he didn’t tell anyone about his trip prior to departure, it seems that someone or something else already knew…

    Thinking Differently in the Paranormal

When I began my quest into the paranormal, I bought into the widely accepted notion that ghosts are simply spirits of dead people. Yet, when we carefully examine some of these cases, we find there also appear to be other things going on with the phenomenon—albeit things that are not so cut and dry.

As human beings, we like to have our world clearly defined in black and white. We especially like to break things down into easily digested pieces cooked to the familiar palate of human understanding. But when we are dealing with the bizarre nature of the unexplained, this approach couldn’t be any more detrimental towards our attempts to ever understand it.

Over time, I learned to approach the phenomena from a different angle altogether (especially if I am to ever satisfy my curiosity with it). If we can shift our expectations away from the very limited human logic applied to it and begin to look at the phenomena from the limitless lens of the phenomena itself, it might help us to better grasp how it operates in the way that it does.
